Alex, I am currently making a very deep RPG that I've been planning for a while. I pretty much got about everything planned out, but right now I'm creating the battle engine for the game. I'd say this game will take me a couple months to finish, so do you think I should just hold the project off until 3.0 is released? I wouldn't want 3.0 suddenly released while I'm making the game, otherwise nobody will even download it since they'd be too busy with 3.0 and couldn't play mine (2.19). If so, maybe I'll just whip up a little game for 2.19 before I get my hands on 3.0 to start the RPG. |

Quest 3.0 will be backwards-compatible with previous versions, so if you develop your game for Quest 2.19 it should work perfectly in Quest 3.0. It'll be a few months yet before Quest 3.0 is released so I wouldn't recommend waiting. You could either create your game for Quest 2.19 or develop it using the current Quest 3.0 Beta 1 - either way, when Quest 3.0 is finally released your game should work on it. |

Will QDK 3.0 or an alpha/beta version of it be released with Quest 3.0? |

I really hope so. I've been using QDK since 2.0, and I hate code, except for HTML. |

An alpha version of QDK 3.0 will be shipped with Quest 3.0 at least - possibly even a beta, though probably not the final version initially. |
