![]() OK, I've gotten this far, by looking at the source links (yeah, I know, cheating...) but I'm confused with one part of the mathematics equation. it's the first bracket. What am I supposed to do in there? just take the N and expland the brackets or take all after the =, or use the WHOLE thing (confusing!)?? I'm the top in my year at maths but don't understand that bit! thanx --CW ..nice site by the way, little annoying when you go back to index.htm and have to sit through 2 minutes of java! |

![]() That shouldn't be too hard (with a calculator). Have you got into the hints page yet? The address is http://members.nbci.com/Frobozzco/glowingfishrazor.htm It should be simple algebra and equation solving. What grade are you in? I'm in Grade 8. I made that last year. |

![]() The last little bit should look something like [?]. That's just the answer. Thanx Pikaflare-- [email protected] |

![]() Well, I'm 16 and about to take my GCSE's. It' is rather simple, it's just that first bit I can't understand!? an equals sign in a bracket? Are you supposed to just take the numbers after the =? I can do the rest if you just give me that bracket! thanx --CW |

![]() That means everything on the left equals everything on the right. -Pikaflare Don't have time to do my usual thingy |

![]() :) ha..ha, very funny! no what I mean is, I don't think that you CAN expand any brackets with an equals sign in them! If you can, it's very unusual, and I haven't come across them! If you just want to expand everything AFTER the equals sign then that's ok! if you want me to expand everything with just the N, THAT'S ok.. but I can't do the sum with that DARN equals sign OK!?!?! :) ... I'm getting a little stressed..... need more coke! .... .... .... quote: --CW |

![]() quote: is this right? but then you start of with and end up with two = signs, which isn't very nice! but if this is the way you do it then........ SIMPLE!!!! God damn it, I didn't see this untill just now! be back soon! --CW |

![]() Notice the first equals sign is IN THE BRACKETS? If you do it right, you should eliminate everything in the brackets to one number. Do the same to the next and multiply the outcome of both. If you still have problems, post another message. I've got another name on here: Mailer X. I might use that every once in a while for a little variety. Thanx Pikaflare-- [email protected] |
