![]() Well I'm making this game, right, and like a lot of people who use Quest I create A LOT of conditional actions when I edit it. There is this bug when make a condition (often 'mounted' on top of another condition) and I leave the 'THEN' part blank. I then edit the 'IF' part, input the data as a condition and I edit BOTH parts (the 'THEN' and the 'IF'). After closing and saving the game, I go back into those windows and the second 'THEN' part (NOT the blank one) amazingly, SHIFTS itself into the blank one and leaving the one that was blank filled up (and vice-versa). Its like they do I swap. Still, I am not sure whether this is kind of a delusion after fustrating hours of editing and trying to get it right or if this REALLY is a bug. My version is 1.02 if that is any help. And I do not own QuestPro. Thankyou, Carlii |

![]() oops! 'IF' and 'THEN' should be 'THEN' and 'ELSE'. Sorry for that.... |

![]() You may want to check out the post "QDK Bug" I think Tyrant hand the same issue. Alex responded with a true confession. Wizard |

![]() Yep, she's the same little bugger I experienced. If you're a QDK user, instead use the NOT statement and simply switch the THEN and ELSE portions around. When a string of conditions are added in the ELSE statement, you shouldn't experience the bug, but you will if the string of conditions is in the THEN statement. Otherwise I highly recommend getting into the code and fixing it yourself, or at least start learning to hand code. I found that hand coding is very simple to learn, and MUCH easier than QDK. However, I still go back to QDK every once in a while to add a few things I might not be able to add while doing code. Anyway, check out my previous post that Wizard talked about and read Alex's reply. |

![]() Or read this - "sorry but multiple nested conditions in QDK 1.02 are a bit buggered". QDK 3.0 fixes everything nicely. I did hope to be able to release an alpha of QDK soonish (to shut you all up! <grin>) but as I've said elsewhere the hard drive has died and it's gone to meet its maker (AJP Computers). |
