  I finally got the SHELL command to work

In order to properly use the SHELL command, it seems that your ASL (or CAS) game and the thing you want to shell must be in the Quest folder. I've tried doing the same thing in my own folder where I keep all my files for my game, but it doesn't work like that. What's the reason for the shell only working in the Quest folder?

Well, I've read further down in this forum, that Al re-installed his version of Quest and that sorted out his SHELL command. I'm going to try this.
I've already put my .asl and the file EVERYWHERE. the root of C:, Quest's folder, my own folder, the desktop, Windows folder...... anywhere I can think of. Re-installation is the only thing I can think of. :(

Hmmm, that's odd. Maybe I should reinstall mine to see if it works in other folders.
