Problem is this, how does one only familiar with QDK accomplish the change of the main window's background color from "white to black" and the basic color of text from "black to white".

I've posted a reply to your other post related to background changing, but the text colour is changable by typing these in for the relevant colour:
|cb === colour black
|cr === colour red
|cy === colour yellow
|cg === colour green
|cl === colour blue
Now, how's about white on white? But then again, why do you want to use the same colour for text, as the background?

There's no way of changing the background colour in Quest at the moment, but I've sent BenJim a version of Quest with a black background as required, so what precisely is the problem?
