The unregistered version of QDK has *always* been a trial version, which always had a 5-second delay on starting. I just haven't specified a trial period before. The new version will continue to function after 30 days, but the time delay is reintroduced (you will notice that you can now immediately hit the "Continue" button). If this is a problem, it will only cost you $19.95 to fix it! :) |

Does that mean I can't use it after 30 days? I DON"T CARE if I have to wait 5 seconds!! Woopie doooooooooooo! I CARE if my favourite program is UNUSABLE in a month! And dedicated users shouldn't be treated like this! |

It will still function after 30 days but you'll have to wait each time you load the program, as before. As for dedicated users, I would have hoped that dedicated users would be willing enough to pay the small amount of money that I ask. Quest and QDK have never been completely free, just like much of the other software we all use regularly. |

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, I was just afraid that QDK/Quest would be unusable after 30 days - in that case I would have gone craZy! Alex, I'm only 14 so I really can't buy anything, but if I was an adult I would for sure! :D |

quote: Thanks. I appreciate that some users, especially my younger users, don't have credit cards. However, you could always ask your parents. Alternatively, I'm pretty sure you should be able to set up a PayPal account, and I'm now accepting payments this way, if this is more convenient. |

Hmmm. I hope I can use a mail order. I'm live in Canada and it's probably the only way, evenif it will cost more. I'm only 14 and my dad doesn't like to pay online... Maxpowr |

A mail order will be fine - run the Quest Pro order assistant and send it off just like a cheque. Here's a URL for anybody wishing to use PayPal: |

Hmm, UBB seems to add http:// in front of the https://, which is pretty stupid. Oh well. |

How about I just send the money to you through the mail Alex? Cuz, I think that's the only way I can pay for it! *L* The only problem is that the money will be in Aussie dollars...that's OK isn't it Alex? ^_^ |

Please don't send cash through the mail. It tends to go walkies. |
