Is this another one of those "dead" moments at Axe Software? The forums were booming fall of last year, and now they've kinda died down again. By the way, Alex, are you planning on releasing an updated Quest, or have you reached the final stage where you're like "Pheck this, I'm done with Quest"? I was always waiting for a new version that would fix the MIDI looping bug among others I remember posting about.

On a side note, how do you guys feel about short but very interactive and fun games? I realized I can't possibly make a long, epic game without growing bored of it, so I might making a short one... kinda like the Devil's Bargain game. What do you guys think?

The forums are always going through peaks of activity, where there can be ten or so posts in a day, a troughs where there can be no posts for ten days. It's an example of mathematical chaos probably - on any particular day, one person could join the forum, make several posts, and people reply to them and discussion could run for a week or two.

As for releasing a newer version of Quest, the answer is always "soon". Not only have I been quite busy over the last couple of months, but my computer is broken so I'm posting to the forums via a university machine, and there's no way I can work on Quest or upload anything until I get my computer back. Which I hoped would have happened by now, but I'm still waiting.
