Okay, I had installed Adobe Photoshop Tryout to my PC about a month ago, so I haven't touched Quest since then. I went back to it, and noticed that all the ASL icons appear as Photoshop icons. When I open an ASL file to play a game, my PC tries to open it in Photoshop. How can I fix this? I uninstalled Quest completely, then reinstalled 3.1 Beta, but it's still the same. Do I have to reinstall Photoshop?

Hmm, it seems ASL must be some kind of odd graphics format.

Quest will reassociate itself with its files whenever it notices that its registry entries have gone missing, and previous versions of the Quest uninstaller didn't actually remove the Quest registry settings.

So, you might be able to get the ASL association back by uninstalling Quest 3.1 Beta and then reinstalling it.

Alternatively, fire up REGEDIT and delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Quest". When you next run Quest, it should restore all settings, plus the file association.

Yep, that worked. Thanks for the reply. I guess one of my problems was that I had the Quest 3.1 Beta UPGRADE since I had 2.19, so I completely uninstalled everything, then downloaded the 3.1 Beta Full Version from your site.
