After the move to the new server sometime near the end of last year, the HTTP upload facility for the games archive didn't work. I've finally got round to getting it working again, so you can upload your game to the archive at http://www.axeuk.com/quest/games/upload.htm .

All games still need approval, but you can make this process quicker if you upload in ZIP format, because then it's just a matter of moving your game into the archive. I'm working on a nice web front-end for myself to do this, which should make adding games to the archive very quick once I've checked that it's acceptable. It also opens up the possibility that, in future, other people will be able to approve games too.

I've recently changed the layout slightly so the "submit a game" link is at the top, on the right-hand pane, and also a list of what the ratings mean is given. Other reasonably recent improvements, which I probably forgot to announce, are the ability to add a comment which won't affect a game's rating - I added this so authors can comment on their own games without unfairly meddling with the rankings. All new comments and reviews store the date with them, so you can see what's new quite easily.

Since the Games Archive is itself another piece of software written by me, I'd appreciate any suggestions, bug reports etc.

Thanks
Alex
