![]() in the program there should be a tab, and when you click it....HEY PRESTO, A MAP OF YOUR WORLD. although, this could be a problem as some games (like mine) go up to a second floor of a building or something. so, i suppose you will have to work on this idea... ;D |

![]() Well, not really. They'd be a map of rooms with line links and words on the lines (like up ect..) being a map. This, to be effective would need to use DirectX - which as I'm finding out, is not so easy to get to grips with. DirectX isn't the ONLY way, sure you could do it without it but it isn't the best of ways. A self made map is just fine IMO. Computer Whizz |

![]() well....SUDS has a self building map built in i thought maybe alex could maybe do something like that. it will probably mean a BIG update, but i think its worth it. |

![]() I'm planning to add some kind of map functionality at some point but it's not a priority. At first it'd be useful for QDK to have a map view of rooms, and then it wouldn't be too much work to let the game author add an automatic map facility to their game when played in Quest, if they wanted. |

![]() I also look forward to this. Although the QDK is excellent the map facility in SUDS is good especially how it shows the player the exits that they have not yet explored. The graphical editor for building the map however is pretty poor. Keep up the great work Alex. |
