Quest 3.12 is now available, and fixes the nasty look/examine script bug plus those pesky issues under Windows XP when the bottom bits of windows wouldn't be visible.

If you're a Quest user you can download your upgrade from http://www.axeuk.com/quest/download.htm

If you're a Quest Pro user you will be receiving an email with download instructions shortly.

Nice work Alex!
It's great to see you're still hanging in there. I'm always eager to hear about upgrades to Quest. :D

Hi Alex

I've reported this direct to you, but a word of warning to others here.

Peeps - KEEP YOUR 3.11 Executables handy!

Having installed 3.12, I've had to reload 3.11 because the new version crashes on loading my working "*.asl" files - all of which work fine in 3.11.

Admittedly I've got some seriously complex stuff in my files, libraries & nested conditions to a level that scares me silly, but it seems there is a nasty little bug lurking somewhere in 3.12 and it might 'bite you on the bum'. :-(

Quest 3.12 fixes a few other bugs apart from the WinXP display problems.

I've just released a new build of Quest 3.12 which fixes the problems MaDbRiT has been experiencing - you can download the updated Quest from the usual place. Check to see if you're running the latest build by looking at Quest's "About" window - the latest version is Quest 3.12, build 3.1.156.

Indeed it does fix the problems, so I am a happy bunny again.

From bBug report to receipt of a patched version in less than 24 hours, that's impressive - cheers Alex!
