![]() How come quest does not support animations? is it because the window just doesn't understand how to let the picture move or something |

![]() Hi Jim I think it is because Visual Basic (which Quest is coded in) doesn't offer an included 'control' which supports animations. You can make and AVI, an MPEG or a Real Media file and 'shell' it from Quest when needed though, so this is hardly a great loss. I think Alex said somewhere that he plans to add animation in GIF format support to Quest, but I know there are legal issues regarding licencing to use "GIF" technology. Al |

![]() I'm not trying to get at you here, but i beleive the purpose of Quest is to create INTERACTIVE FICTION games which is like choose your own adventure stories, not a graphics game. But other than that, im going with MaDbRiT |
