alex is charging $30.00 for some stupid visual basic programing? thats stupid! its a nice program and all but it isnt worth $30.00. Its about a ten dollar program...

Actually Quest is free. And Quest Pro is a $19.95 program.

Actually, I think 20 dollars (US) is pretty cheap. Especially considering all the time Alex has spent on Quest over the years. Not to mention the fact that he also provides a forum where we game programmers can boot-strap with the developer to continually improve Quest Pro program code as well as get continually updated functionality. Talk is cheap. Programming is usually not cheap, except in this case where you have a guy that obviously loves his work.

Sure, VB isn't anything to dance around the room for - but it's very versatile and powerful for what it is.
The program Alex has developed is also very extensive... I can't imagine creating such a big program myself - but then again he has spent alot of time on it (which I haven't done on ANY of my stuff).
$20 isn't too much.

The answer is simple Jakk, if you think it is sh*te, then dont buy it. Stop coming here and griefing a program we love and would pay for. Think of the work Alex has put into creating it, maintaining the site, and replying to all of our questions and queries. I bet if you had his job you couldn't handle it for an hour. If you dont improve your ways i think you are going to be a very disliked member of the forums.
