i was wondering if it was possible to be able to download the Quest setup, but without the QDK package.
because i want people to be able to download my games, and i want them to be able to download Quest (linked to this site), but i dont want them to be able to download QDK, just the Quest Client so.....
A) they dont edit my non-compiled quest games
B) So they dont have to have QDK on their system when they dont want it
C) i only want people to focus on my game, and not making a game themselves using the exact same program i used. because you dont see Nightmist online, Gemstone 3, Deity, telling people what program they used to create the game, and where to get it from etc.

ok, i did it my way lol. i just deleted all the QDK related files in the Quest folder, zipped it, then uploaded it. i hope you dont mind me doing this. i suppose it should be ok concidering the program has Axe Software all over it, its not like i changed the program or anything hehe.

Please do not redistribute Quest in any form other than the original setup file (e.g. QUEST312.EXE).
This is because the original setup file works - if you create a different setup file, you will omit vital DLL and OCX files, meaning Quest won't work on your user's systems. So please ONLY redistribute QUEST312.EXE. Redistributing anything else will probably not work, and it is also a violation of my copyright - so please remove your customised setup from your website.
If you don't want people to edit your games in QDK, all you have to do is get Quest Pro. You can order your copy right now and download it immediately from http://www.axeuk.com/quest/qreg.htm .
