Perhaps you could add a feature so we can make our own multiplayer commands. We could be able to battle other players, or steal from them in games, or something like that. That would be the best.

ummmmmm...... I think we can!
You just have to know some code.

I know that you can access their inventory using their name, but I don't know how to do that..... ppssshhhhh ---- something to add to the list!

I sort of wanted us to do anything involving the other players. That would be awesome.

Well, whenever Alex comes out with some REAL documentation for the QuestNet server ASL then that'll be handy!

Like how to alter PLAYERS properties (if they exist - if not, I reckon you should add it!) how to access players inventories, how to do that sort of stuff.... and the proper syntax for the commands would be nice.

how about different classes.
Xlithan posted 19-06-2001 19:51 BST
how bout this idea.......

You looked over 'Xlithan'.

'Xlithan' is a male human fighter. He looks strong and incredibly attractive. His movment are quick and agile. 'Xlithan' is armed with a long sword and is protected by his ring mail. 'Xlithan' is a follower of Targos. He is in healthy condition.

this can change depending on what class you are, what weapons and armor you have and how healthy you are. (all i need to know is how to program it and how i can make it so it changes if you equip another weapon and armor). ITS ALL SO DIFFICULT!!

No - it's all down to properties.

In my eyes they are the single BEST thing to come into ASL.

With propertie's you can have weapon type (long sword, axe, bow&arrow, ect...) number of arrow's, weapon strength, weapon weight, weapon colour, weapon size (for a distance measurement), ect...

Now if the player can have "properties" in QuestNet - then follower can be a property. Health, sex, race, description, height, weight, strength, agility, eye-sight, no. of objects, ect...

Now if they are properties, it's easy to get at them - and if it's easy to get at them, it's bl**dy MARVELLOUS to use for text like that! And basically everything in the game.
