Just a question: do you think a person should have to 'sign-up' or 'register' to be able to post a message in a forum/message board/bulletin board ?? I was just wondering.... please reply urgently

Well, why not?
In any case, I don't have a choice as it's part of the CGI script I'm using for these forums and I can't turn off having to register.
At least this way we know who each message comes from.

Yes... I don't mind having to register, it stops other people pretending to be me (someone pretended to be Alex in the old forum.... I had a quick look at it!).
Any message board that I frequently use, I will register for...... but if it's just a quick in-out "what's this for?" then I'd guess use something like www.boardhost.com or something like that!
