Well.... This is really a question for anyone who knows a bit of VB language:

Is there any EASY way of re-ordering a list of names, and information?

Ie. I have 10 names, unordered, and they are like this ; "lastname, firstname". There is additional information to go with them, and is linked by the index number of the combobox (the thing I'm using to list all the names....).
Now, when I put the names in order, I also have to alter the number where the extra information is kept (so I need to know what the index number WAS and where it is NOW).

Is there any quick routine for this or do I have to make my own?

I'm just asking this because I want to save myself 15 minutes of coding..... but I'll be perfectly happy if you say "no!".

Perhaps you could try somewhere like www.vbexplorer.com
I was about to start using Visual Basic a while ago, but couldn't get the money.
