Posting a summary of my, rather unworthy to mention, career in IF, a funny story came to my mind: Last July, I was dedicated to write a new game on quest, but I was running out of ideas and my old frozen projects didn't seem right to me... One day, listening to Metallica's "One" or Sepultura's "Dead Embryonic cells", an image came to my mind: "Total darkness... Or something like that... You, in foetal position, tied to tubes and millions of high-tech machines, an artificial womb made to sustain your dying body. The only move you can do is to blink. All you can distinguish beyond the green thick liquid that surrounds you, are some shades. Probably scientists watching over your progress. That is what happens when you are ..., the well-known superhero.
then blank... total void. And an idea occured to me. The game is about an author running out of ideas and it is called "Fresh air", and interacting with the environment, the story of the game he programs goes on. The idea was dumped and "Blade Sentinel" was made through brainstorming. Had you any similary interesting stories in your authoring career? DarkAng3l |
