I'm too busy with my life to even think about games (well - think as in "contemplate"... I still get alot of ideas). Plus playing flash movies takes up ALOT of time!! : )

Jim, perhaps people don't want to subject their games to moronic, bickering reviews, like the kind you tend to give out. Or perhaps, like you, they fear learning the awful, one-star truth about their games.

How dare you complain about others not posting games when you don't have the balls to post your own.

Making a game takes too much time to write (and I am talking about a decent-sized game). It took me a summer to write "Lovesong" from scratch. I am remind myself I have to rewrite a game called "The Blade Sentinel" which is full of bugs since september. Guess what? I haven't beause my shrinking leisure time is spent elsewhere. I have more important thinks to do.
You complain noone is posting and you don't post your game. Why's that?
As for the critics, if a game sucks, it sucks. Period! I have taken bad critics too for my best game, but haven't complained. And believe me, it was much better than some totally incoherent games posted here. Actually I think critics are a bit too "sparing", baptising mediocre games excellent (The demo of "Mysts" I posted for instance.) So better grow a thicker skin and try to learn from your mistakes. That's what I do.

Are we getting a little explicit here? Truth is a good game takes time to made. And modern society is a big time vampire. Plus the fact that people have different concerns/interests. At the moment I am playing Interplay's D&D and AD&D cRPG's. I have finished Neverwinter Nights and BG2, play Icewind Dale (#1 not 2) and have to play Planescape: Torment. Then the expansion for BG2 and NWN plus getting IWD2. Additionally, I start running a tabletop RPG campaign myself. That leaves me occupied for... dunno a year? So it's kinda hard to work seriously on a game. I think this applies to many other authors. What matters is quality work, not a bunch of rooms thrown together hosting a couple riddles to solve and that's it.

Just chill out guys, it's not the end of the world. The frequency of the creation of Quest games fluctuates all the time it's nothing to get heavy over.

Just enjoy them when/if they come out. ;)
