Hi everyone, this is especially to Alex who either didnt get, or couldn't be arsed to reply to, my e-mails.
I have a problem, my computor has several viruses on it which are slowly screwing it. My dad is going to clear it all and reboot it in a few days. I am trying to put Quest and other things on a disk using my nero burning rom thingy, but i cannot find the initial installation files, i have looked everywhere! HAs anyone got any idea where it might be? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if you mean on your local hard disk or just a place to download the installation files but uh... www.axeuk.com click the download link in the left frame then download the install package, on your computer find your saved asl files for your games add both the installation package and your games your working on into the cd you're burning. If that's hard or you don't remember where you saved your games or something um... Just uh, search files, type .asl and add all the ones you come up with to the cd(well if they are the games you are looking for). Maybe it just seems obvious and easy to me.

I haven't received any email from you recently.

Try searching for questpro*.exe, which should hopefully find the installation file for you.

Failing that you will be able to download it again from the axesoftware-questpro Yahoo group by logging in to http://groups.yahoo.com/

Hi Adji,
speaking as a Desktop support person. Probably the easiest thing you could do is to get the lastest virus scanning software and DATS and take those viruses off your PC. If there are specific viruses preventing you from running the whole kit and kaboodle, you or your dad can download the specific one(s) you need to clean your machine to get it to a point where you can install the whole program. I think it's a toss up as to whether Norton or McAfee are better.

im with norton all the way, mcafee lets to many viruses through, norton is definately more strict on files :)

goto My Computer, press F3, search for QDK or Quest, and u might find the installation files that way.

I understood you as far as I can tell - the initial installation file on your computer will be called something like questpro312.exe (or quest312.exe for the evaluation version), so that's what you need to search for.

Alternatively, download the installation file again from the axesoftware-questpro Yahoo group, which you should have access to when you log in to http://groups.yahoo.com/ with the email address you registered with.

no such yahoo group

It's a non-public Yahoo group for Quest Pro users only; you get automatically subscribed when you get Quest Pro.

I seem to recall you had trouble originally when you bought Quest Pro. You need to log in to Yahoo Groups with your user name which I can see is gamegeareduk. The email address you have registered is [email protected]. If you can't remember your password, click the link on the login page which says "Password lookup".

If you're still have problems please tell me *exactly* what error message you are seeing.
