I think Im Back |
![]() If there are any lurkers(and you know who you are), feel free to post a message and sound off, introduce yourself, this forum needs to become more of a community, or atleast bigger than three people at a time. Things are getting awful lonely here. To Alex, maybe you should submit the site to a few more search engines, I know I only found this site through a link on a small personal dev site someone had, and that was a year ago probably. I say you submit it to search engines as an "Online Text Game Development Program" or something. Throw in MUD, MUD Making, MUD Maker, MUD DEV, etc as the keywords and that'll draw a bunch of folks, then we can eat their brains... I mean, uh, have more active posters, active coders, etc. Good Idea? |

![]() i agree.... im on these forums 24/7 (as u can see ive had about 5 accounts, and still manage to out post some people). and imo, this is the best text-based mud maker on the net, so submit it to more search engines, and you WILL be pleased with the outcome. i know alot of people who still play standalones dont know VB, C++ etc, and would be greatful to be able to learn a language in a month and create wonders, coz BYOND is to hard for some people (yes, i admit, even for me) :( |

![]() I use Google quite a bit. I understand it will prioritize a website on Google's list by the number of links people have to that site. So, if you want this forum to be more visible, have more users put a link to this site on their web pages. Google (and other search engines that are link based)will move this site closer to the top of its list. |

![]() I remember BYOND back when it was called DUNG. It used to be a lot easier to use, but that was before it fully supported graphic games. The problem with BYOND is that it is geared more towards graphic games, most the ones I've seen made are graphic atleast. Quest is perfect for text games as I see it. I remember starting out, and I had all these sophisticated ideas, but was having trouble figuring them out, then one day it just clicked, and ever since then, it's been a breeze. Back to the point though, anyone who is active on these boards want to announce themselves, I know computer whizz is around and occasionally darkangel, anyone else? |
Computer Whizz |
![]() Yeah - I visit usually once a day, sometimes twice (I know - I should get a life!). I really only reply to 'special' posts now. Those which stand out from the rest. Computer Whizz |
